Long Time, No See

Well – its been more than a few months since my last blog at the tail end of my happy European adventure.  To catch you up on the what’s what, here’s what happened since the end of May:

– I took a job that involved sitting at a desk for 12+ hours a day.

– I started to hate and loathe said job that involved sitting at a desk for 12+ hours a day.

– I officially got 1000 downloads of my album by July 1st – a longstanding but unspoken goal I had for awhile (which I had to celebrate silently from my desk at work….)

– I started collaborating with my co-worker, Jourdan, to book lots and lots of shows in the area to take our minds off of the 12+ hours of desk job work – including a handful of super stellar awesome organic farms that let me play everywhere from their cabins to their courtyards (video footage posted soon!).  Check out her super stellar blog here:  http://www.peopleforgreenjustice.com

– I hooked up with a couple of other artistic bandits who helped me shoot a music video involving snow in summer, a white piano on a sidewalk, and ruby red shoes that were 1/2 a size too small (ouch).  My super talented and super tall friend, Stephen McGee, shot something truly spectacular, if you ask me.  Check out more of his work here: http://www.facethestation.com (the “Paint a Burnt House” video is super cool…)

Its been a busy 3 months!  In case you haven’t seen the video yet with the too-small red slippers, just click the link below:

And now that my job is coming to a close, hopefully I can keep in better blogging touch.  If nothing else, hopefully I can book some shows close to where you are and thank you profusely for all of your love and support.  It means the world to me….
